Eastwell Manor Wedding Photographer
A look back to the wedding of Kat & Jordan’s July 2026 wedding at the beautiful Champneys, Eastwell Manor in Ashford, Kent
Wow - What a wedding…. I’ve worked at Eastwell Manor quite a few times over the last two decades and this one didn’t disappoint!
This was a busy fusion wedding of English & Spanish families coming together to celebrate this young couples big day. Kats dads side of the family were from Spain and they loved to dance but the English gave them a run for their money too! It was impressive to watch Kat go from speaking perfect english to perfect Spanish depending on who she was talking to. Makes me wish i’d learnt a second language as a kid!
I met K&J back in February 2025 and they’d booked me in within a week of our initial chat. So I knew they loved my documentary style photography and the way I work when shooting the more formal portraits at a wedding; which is a very relaxed experience by the way. I like to think a wedding is more about couples enjoying their day with their guests and not spending hours with me taking their portraits. I do however feel that the small amount of group photos is important so I do recommend having a few during this time. I normally recommend a small list of your nearest and dearest; mums and dads, brothers and sisters, grandparents and the bridal party. Oh and if you have your own children, them too.
When they booked me they said they really liked my candid approach to weddings and the fact that I shoot with my drone too - oh and if you can get the Spanish vibe too.
Having beautiful weather helped with the Spanish vibe part as it was more suited to the Spanish contingent and helped create the perfect day for Kat & Jordan’s wedding celebration. The day started with the couple and their wedding party getting ready at Eastwell Manor’s bridal suite through to a great firework display looking over the fountain. The two mums looked gorgeous in their outfits and the dads looked smart too in their three piece suits.
The couple booked me to stay all night until the bar closed. It’s a long day but you do get loads of fun dancing and the party went on the whole time I was there - The DJ did a brilliant job of that too.
Kat & Jordan were a delight to work with on the day. They were fun, easy to get on with and very relaxed during their portraits. Kat was a maniac on the dance floor too; definitely in the top 3 energetic brides this year - I’m not sure if she left the dance floor all night! Check out the last set of photos to see her energy.
The bride and her girls wanted to do a before and after jump video & it was fun watching them practice the routine before the filming was done.
So that was Kat & Jordans wedding day - Saturday, 25th July 2026 - summed up with just a few of their wedding photos.
